Roger Reutimann was born in Switzerland in 1961. He began playing the piano at the age of 5 and went on to study music at the conservatory of Zurich. During his teenage years he competed in a
number of international piano competitions and performed as a classical concert pianist throughout Europe. His travels provided initial artistic influences at an early age, drawn from the
museums and rich cultural heritage of Europe.
Among Reutimann’s noteworthy achievements is the design and successful marketing of his own series of light fixtures. His award-winning handcrafted and limited edition
lamps have been featured in numerous art and design magazines in Europe. Reutimann has been involved in art his entire life. For 8 years he organized and later part-owned the annual
Forum International Art Fairs in Zurich, Hamburg and Dusseldorf. Reutimann lives and works as a successful professional sculptor in Boulder, Colorado.
